Growing up around horses has really shaped me into the person I am today. Equestrianism is a lifelong sport. There is no way to ever learn everything and that fact is incredibly humbling. As a young athlete in my teens, I was able to compete fairly frequently on borrowed horses, as I was unable to afford my own until later. These competitions were successful and allowed me to learn more and move up the levels.
I have a solid background in Equestrian which has carried me into the highest levels of IHSA in college. I’ve also made sure to dabble in almost every riding discipline, even though my primary riding style is English. My favorite riding disciplines are Equitation, Hunter/Jumper, and Fox Hunting.
