What’s your favorite thing about ORORO?

Reliability, I heard a lot of good things about your products!

What are the best 3 words to describe yourself?

Adventurous, traditional and passionate. I enjoy the draw of adventure that the outdoors brings and always find myself practicing traditional skills that have interested me for so long. I am extremely passionate about discovering and sharing these skills and highly enjoy every stage of the process.

Please share a short story about an important challenge that you've overcome (in your life, hobby, or profession)

When hiking in the lake district on a summer's day, the weather came in really fast, visibility was completely lost and I could only see about a foot in front of me. Luckily, I was equipped, but this made navigation extremely difficult as I was on the descent and highly reliant on bearings and landmarks to avoid any sheer drops. This took a lot of navigational cross-referencing, planned pauses to assess the route, warm up myself in wind void pockets when crossing boulder fields and taking time to not panic, but to trust in my knowledge and not rush. After a grueling three hours, the descent was complete and visibility was regained for the last mile or so. A valuable lesson about weather and how one cannot plan based on the morning.
