Bought this to replace one of my favorite but dilapidated black zip up hoodie. I coach youth water polo and practices are outside at night. This heated hoodie is all I need to keep me comfortable. I’ve never heard of Gear Wrench brand before. The hoodie is heavyweight, but the battery pack is in a better location than the pullover kangaroo pocket hoodie I first bought. The heating works better too. I buy a larger size for my sweatshirts to layer but didn’t need to probably with this one. It’s plenty comfy and warm.

Works as expected

I bought this zip up sweatshirt to replace my favorite but worn out black zip up. I like the double layer thickness and battery pack location. The shoulder branding is excessive especially since I’ve never heard of Gear Wrench. The heating elements do warm me up when I’m outside coaching youth water polo in the winter, often at nighttime. Whenever I go to hang it up though, I’m struck by how heavy it is. I haven’t had it very long so I can’t comment on the durability yet. Also I buy my top layers on the big side so I can layer. Not sure if that impacts the heating effectiveness or not. I feel it which is the important part.

Very happy, one less layer when competing

I'm a competitive action pistol shooter and we have matches all year round in the NorthEast. Needless to say it gets cold but I can't wear a jacket around my gear so I'd typically layer with 4 shirts to stay warm enough. With this I was able to remove one layer to not be so bulky and throw this over my gear in between stages to stay very comfortably warm. Really happy overall with it!
