No, apparel-only purchases do not include batteries. If you don't have any ororo battery, we strongly suggest you to buy one. Otherwise, the apparel won't work to provide heating.

I purchased two of these vests. Be to wear with larger heavy sweaters and one that fits normally. It’s worth every penny. I wear them both inside and outside the house. They also get worn in addition to my Ororo jacket on super cold subzero wind chill days 💕

I I bought a size that I thought would fit fairly tight- and it does- to wear over a capilene long sleeve top and fleece or sweatshirt topper. Love, love, love the fleece interior of this vest! And it has just the right amount of stretch! I had 2 batteries already. This is just about perfect for spring and fall dog sports!

I am amazed at how this company stood behind their product. I had their vest and it started to malfunction. I contacted them and they replaced it with a new one. I am VERY pleased. And Ivy, the representative that I dealt with was fantastic!!!!
